There’s No Place Like Home ❤️
There’s no place like home, and Binghamton, NY, where I was born and raised, will forever be home to me. Though I’ve lived in Southern California most of my adult life, my yearly summer visits to Binghamton were always considered trips home.
So what a thrill to see that Luz is still being displayed, two years post-publication, on the Local Author shelf at Barnes and Noble, Vestal—Binghamton’s local bookstore. I was supposed to do a reading and book signing back in 2020, but, of course, all events were canceled due to the pandemic.
Next summer, I plan to visit family and friends and hope to schedule an event at Vestal’s Barnes and Noble with my second novel, Josie and Vic, which releases in April 2023.
Part of the novel takes place in Binghamton, which is Josie and Vic’s hometown as well. Like so many writers before me, home always finds its way into the writing. There’s no place like home. ❤️
