Luz Book Launch. Save the Date!
My book launch for Luz will be held at my favorite independent bookstore, Vroman’s in Pasadena http://www.vromansbookstore.com/ on Saturday, June 13th at 4 PM. It’s an amazing store with a large and diverse selection of books, unique gift items, cards, pens, stationary, and a phenomenal children’s department. I will be doing a reading and book -signing upstairs.
I chose a Saturday afternoon in the hopes that many of you could come. If you have children and no childcare available, by all means bring them along. If they get restless, the children’s section is right next to the area where I will be speaking. Just wander back and forth as needed.
There is convenient free parking behind the bookstore.
Please note: I can only sign your book if you have purchased a copy of my novel–or something else–from Vroman’s.

This sounds really interesting. I’ve lived in Southern California my entire life but have only recently made a friend who traveled from Mexico to the US Illegally as a child. Looking forward to reading your book.
