The Better Story: Why I Prefer Fiction
So honored and proud to have my essay “The Better Story: Why I Prefer Fiction” published on Story Circle Network’s Telling Herstories Blog. It began as I was thinking about the books that I read as a young girl and how they influenced my life. As with many writing experiences, it was as I wrote and reflected that I came to understand how a particular novel, read in middle school, had such an impact on my young life, and why it led me to become a passionate reader—and writer—of fiction.
